Phil continues to work part-time as a teacher of art and is keen to maintain his links with education. He has fulfilled a number of artist in residence placements at schools and with community groups locally and throughout the country. In 2006 Phil formed the
Sussex Arts Collective to promote and sell his own and other artist artwork from the locality.
